Melamine tableware (MF) is a kind of high-molecular polymers. The monomers are formaldehyde and melamine. During the chemical reaction, it uses formaldehyde(37% ) and the ratio of moles(formaldehyde and melamine)is 2~3. Researches show that, With the increase of dosage of formaldehyde, formaldehyde in combination also increases. The chemical reaction is not difficult. When we change the dosage of formaldehyde, we can obtain melamine resin from different methyl melamine. When the Potential Of Hydrogen(ph) of reaction system is about 8.5, the side effect is tiny, and the reaction is controllable. As the high temperature, the reaction is fast, and within 54~80℃, it does not much affect the amount of formaldehyde in combination. The first step of reaction is to generate a varying number of N - hydroxy methyl alternatives, and then creat phenolic novolac resin. In general, with different reaction conditions, the molecular weight of products is different. It can changed from water-soluble to water-fast. I t can even produces inmeltable and insoluble solid. Melamine resin is uncured at room temperature and it must be cured in the temperature of 130~150℃. Researches show that, with a small amount of acid to be catalyzer, the curing speed will be fast. After the curing, melamine formaldehyde resin is transparent. It is Stable in the boiling water and can be used in the temperature of 150℃.It is self-extinguish, arc-resistance and has good mechanical properties.

Material: Using melamine formaldehyde resin as material and cellulose as base stock, melamine powder is produced by pigment and other adjuvant. Because of its Three-dimensional reticular structure, it belongs to thermosetting material. It has the scientific name of melamine formaldehyde resin , which abbreviate for MF.
A1(can’t be used in table wares Contains 30% melamine formaldehyde resin and 70% additive and starchy. Feature: although it contains melamine formaldehyde resin, but the plastics characteristic is existing. High toxicity, not endure to high temperature, not resistant to dirt, not resistant to corrosion, it can be out of shape and color and poor in lustrousness .
A3 (can’t be used in table wares) Contains 70% melamine formaldehyde resin and 30% additive and starchy. Feature: Almost the same as the A5 products in appearance. not resistant to dirt and not resistant to corrosion .It can be out of shape and color and poor in lustrousness.
A5( can be used in table wares) Contains 100% melamine formaldehyde resin. Features: non-toxic and odorless , tolerance from -30℃ to 120℃, break-resistant and corrosion-resistant, delicate appearance , light and warm-keeping, safety in use.
